  3. Assess

Review the numbers, the risks and the questions to ask the seller.

  4. Value

Normalise earnings and form a view on a sensible price.

  5. Offer

Financial and commercial input into your offer and Heads of Terms, alongside your legal advisers.

  6. Investigate

Financial due diligence, scaled to the size and risk of the deal.

  7. Fund

Model the funding requirement and prepare the information funders ask for.

  8. Negotiate

FAQs

Common questions

Do I need to have found a business before I contact you?

No. We can help you define what you are looking for and register your acquisition criteria, or review a specific opportunity you have already found.

What happens when I register my acquisition criteria?

We record what you are looking for and will contact you when we identify an opportunity that may be relevant. Matching is done by a person, not automatically, and registering does not commit you to anything. We'll ask you to confirm or update your acquisition criteria at least every 12 months.

Can you help with funding an acquisition?

We can prepare the acquisition finance model and the information funders usually need. Where a service requires regulatory authorisation, we work with appropriately authorised third-party partners.
